1. General Atomics MQ-9 Reaper
Turboprop MQ-9 is the first hunter-killer UAV designed for cruising far and the ability to fly very high. In this mode killer UAV can carry air-to-ground missiles, Hellfire, up to 14 pieces, or a mixture of Hellfire missiles and bombs with laser guidance. The weapons are controlled by a pilot in a central controller.

MQ-9 turboprop has a maximum speed of 300 mph, capable of flying to an altitude of 50,000 feet and was able to fly in 14 with a full load. Aircraft during takeoff weight is 10,500 pounds (5250 kg) with a wingspan as wide as 66 feet (22m).

For comparison, the manned combat aircraft such as the F-16, has a maximum takeoff weight of 42,000 pounds (21 tons). Advantages The Reaper else in the program is the ability to fly on their own, in which unmanned aircraft should always be monitored from the base. but the aircraft is always monitored or controlled by aircrew ground.

Aircraft UAV predecessor was General Atomic's QM-1 Predator, which he said had made the Taliban destroyed in Afghanistan.

2. Lockheed Martin RQ-170 Sentinel
UAV was developed by Lockheed Martin's Skunk Works property that has produced spy plane U-2, SR-71 and F-117 stealth aircraft. Like the F-117, RQ-170 Sentinel is a "flying wing" or rather jet stealth UAV.

Earned the nickname as the "Beast of Kandahar" after look at Kandahar airbase, Afghanistan, yet very little is known about this plane. According to Aviation Week magazine estimated RQ-170 Sentinel has a wingspan of 66 feet and a takeoff weight of 8500 pounds.

USAF parties themselves are reluctant to explain the existence of these UAVs, saying only that the RQ-170 will directly support the intelligence needs of the battle: surveillance and reconnaissance targets (surveillance and reconnaissance).

3. Northrop Grumman Global Hawk RQ-4
Northrop Grumman-made UAV has a wing span of 116 feet with a maximum weight of 26,750 pounds at takeoff, it made RQ-4 as the largest UAV has been in operation at this time.

Q is the Department of Defense designation for unmanned aircraft systems. RQ-4 Global Hawk has the ability to fly high and far distance. UAVs will be operated to provide intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance on the battlefield in the world, but can also be used on missions other than war.

In addition, the UAV is also able to operate in almost all weather conditions, day or night, and is projected to replace spy plane U-2. This UAV can fly up to an altitude of 60,000 feet and is controlled from the control center by three crew: pilot launchers and controllers, pilots and mission control a sensor operator.

4. AAI Corporation RQ-7 Shadow

Unlike most UAVs, which take off and land on a runway like a normal plane. RQ-7 Shadow launched into the air to a height of 30 feet using hydraulic launchers and when it landed he had to hook a stop mechanism as that in doing aircraft when landing on aircraft carrier

RQ-7 operated by the Army and the U.S. Marine Corps, serving transmit full-motion video, day or night with a range of up to 75 miles. This UAV may fly for nine hours, has a cruising speed of 90 knots and can reach a height of 15,000 feet. RQ-7 driven by propellers that move by a gasoline engine, overall weighs 460 pounds with a wingspan of over 20 feet.

5. AeroVironment Puma-AE
Puma-AE (AE = all environment / all terrain) is designed for operation on land and in the sea, so that they can land on land or at sea.

Assigned to various missions, such as: intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance and target assessment. This UAV weighs only 13 pounds and is launched by hand, 9-foot wing span panjanng and capable of flying for two hours and a maximum altitude of 500 feet flying.
